Get Your Zagat

Ever walked into a "Zagat Rated" restaurant only to walk out feeling duped, cheated, and unhappy? What does a Zagat Rating mean anyway? Well, I'll tell you. It means some hoity-toity food reviewer calls a restaurant and schedules an eating. On the day of the appointment, the finest cuisine the restaurant has ever prepared is cooked and served to the reviewer. Afterwards, the reviewer walks out sated and satisfied, and the food returns to its pre-reviewer sub par state. Later, the restaurant gets a shiny new "Zagat Rated" sticker and up it goes on the door or window.

Nowadays, you can't help but see "Zagat Rated" stickers adorning the glass panes of almost every restaurant. And now, the ratings have infiltrated establishments other than restaurants. It seems as if Mr. Zagat and Co. are on a mission to rate everything and anything. Unfortunately, the Zagat crew is only composed of humans who, though they may try, cannot cover every single restaurant, bakery, salon, flower shop, hotel, bar, aquarium, baseball stadium . . . well, you get the picture. So, if you're itching to get customers lining up outside your shop before opening time and can't wait for one of those burgundy stickers, have no fear, you can download one here. Only restaurant stickers are available now (others available later), and you can choose from years dating back to 2002 in case you feel your heyday was in the past. Just print onto a sheet of sticker paper, cut, stick, and watch your profits start to soar!
